DNP-720AE

A recent reviewer said, “I was looking for something that I could play my cd collection using my home internet network and using my personal audio system that is not wireless. I happened to see the Denon DNP-720AE at Crutchfield and did some research on it. Sounded like this is what I wanted and would give it a try. Am I glad I did! Came expertly packaged from Crutchfield and very simple to set up. Connection to my home network was flawless and my music sounds wonderful. I was a little skeptical at first as I am very particular on sound and didn’t know if I would get that with a wireless system. But I was amazed at how the player reproduced the music as I didn’t think that was possible. I also listen to the internet radio which is crystal clear with never any problems. This machine is highly recommended!”

NA-11S1

A recent reviewer said, “All-in-one solution for music in my home…love it!”

“Marantz’s new NA-11S1 shows just what is possible from modern high-res digital sources. It has a plethora of facilities, including stable streaming and USB provision, and is beautifully built. Its subtle, smooth and intricately detailed sound sets an enviable standard.”

NA11 “Highly Commended” Hi-Fi Choice

“If networked audio systems have typically been designed for convenience rather than ultimate sound quality then this new digital audio player from Marantz marks a turning point in the evolution of home hi-fi. In addition to offering USB Type A and B sockets – for iDevices, memory sticks and connection to a PC or Mac – the NA-11S1 includes an Ethernet port for access to a NAS drive or to become part of your wired home network. The new DSD-over-USB protocol is also supported. Naturally, AirPlay and DLNA connectivity is included, so you can wirelessly stream music from your computer or mobile device. The player is immaculately finished while its subtle, smooth and intricately detailed sound is always musical, setting an enviable standard. Without doubt, the NA-11S1 is a supreme streamer.”

DP-29F

A recent reviewer said, “When the CDs and DVDs have won the market and piracy is on top, Denon’s DP-29F has taken me 20 years back when I used to play my vinyls on my Phillips turntable. When purchasing, I had a lot of doubt regarding its quality. I put my first LP on it with hesitation, but to my utter astonishment, I listened a true rich and nice sound which at once made me nostalgic! THANKS DENON FOR YOUR PRODUCTION..”

DP-200USB

A recent reviewer said, “I like this turntable. It has a USB on front (some are in the back). It is automatic and so lifts and returns. I have listened to the mp3 files created with the USB and they sound good to me. If you want to convert or play your LPs, then this might fit your need. It did mine. The only problem is, you have to train your children to not bounce around when it is playing.”

DP-300F

“A gorgeous, full automatic turntable that doesn’t break the bank” Lewis Leong, TechRadar // Read the review

A recent reviewer said, ” I was in the market for a turntable and wanted a fully automatic as my tremors would prove disastrous for both a tone arm and record if I had to play them manually. This Denon is a smooth, quiet, nice looking turntable and is easy to set up and I even installed a cartridge upgrade myself with a Sumiko Pearl which I ordered with the turntable from here. It’s a great performer and the price is very reasonable….Denon has been making record players for over a hundred years….they got it right.”

NR1403

A recent reviewer said, “To provide some background I’ve been an audiophile since my late teens and sold high end audio in the 70’s. I bought this receiver along with a pair of PSB 5’s, C4, and Infinity PS38 with the Samsung BD-F7600 Blue-Ray. This was for a vacation home and my original intent was to have decent 2-channel stereo for CD’s but thought it would be nice to enhance the dialogue on our Panasonic plasma panel for movies and HD broadcast. The Crutchfield rep steered me toward this 3.1 system but in the end I had problems getting the receiver to work with 2 brand new Comcast HD boxes with one being a DVR as neither box worked reliably with the Marantz using HDMI. After a week of technical support calls, changing cables, boxes, etc. I said enough. Part of my discontent also centered with the Marantz Pure-Direct 2-channel performance as CD’s from the Samsung Blue-Ray through the Marantz sounded processed and muddy. I don’t know if this was the Samsung or the DAC in the Marantz but definitely not audiophile quality. There were also annoying random static sounding clicks or pops in quiet passages that were not evident when the Samsung was connected to the Panasonic panel via HDMI and played through the internal speakers. After using Audissey to set levels my wife and I watched a few movies and several HD content shows and frankly, found the dialogue easier to understand using the Panasonic speakers so it went back. I’ll blame Comcast for the connectivity issues – a dysfunctional company.”

CD6005

“A fantastic player and immense value for money. Its predecessor was already a winner, and this has topped it.”
Best CD player under £500, What Hi-Fi Awards 2015

“…the new Marantz CD6005 sounds very nice indeed. Treble is crisp and spacious….while the midband is smooth and open with a good sense of image placement. Bass does its own thing happily, sounding surprisingly strong and tuneful…and the overall result is a very enjoyable rendition of REM’s ‘Maps and Legends’.”

“If you are in the market for components of this type under $1,000, the Marantz PM6005 Integrated Amplifier and CD6005 CD Player should be on your short list.”

CD5004

A recent reviewer said, “I was prompted to purchase the Marantz CD5004 player because of the fine review it was given by Stereophile magazine and its placement on their recommended components list. It is the least expensive player in the Class C category. The Marantz replaced a 14 year old Sony player that was highly regarded when it was purchased. My wife and I were totally unprepared for the top to bottom improvement in sound. Every aspect of our sound was improved, noticeably! This player is highly recommended. Associated components are: Carver 1.5 T amplifier, Carver C-1 preamplifier and Paradigm Signature Studio 60 speakers.”

SA-15S2

“The SA15S2 SACD-player sounds like a gem, silky, nuanced, coherently detailed, relaxed, spacial, musical and with the right amount of punch when needed. It offers a nice deep, realistically three dimensional sound. Very detailed, seemless tone reproduction at all ranges and the choices offered by the filter selection make a very complete player.A recommended buy in its price range.”
