AH-D400

“The headphone and earbud market is a saturated mess of Celebrity-endorsed cans that are overpriced and provide little innovation, aside from boosting bass. Denon’s new family of headphones buck the trend by putting a control wheel and integrated mic onto the actual earcups and buds, and not as an afterthought on the cable. Defining features include 50mm drivers and an integrated amplifier (How many headphones have that? Answer: none.) You get what you pay for. And the Urban Ravers are ten times better than any pair of Beats.”
Raymond Wong, DVICE

“It doesn’t just do bass better than Fanny Wang, but treble, warmth and crispness.”
Discovery.com, Alice Truong

““They easily out-rumbled and thumped their worthy adversary. And so the interestingly designed Urban Ravers win this battle of the bass.”
Discovery.com, Scott Tharler

CEOL Piccolo

“Multi-format mini marvel at a brilliant price.”
T3 (February 2013)

“Put simply, a Piccolo plus Spotify equals a superb listening experience.”

“Compared with rival micros the Piccolo produces a fuller, more organic sound, one with weight and substance behind each note.”

“Not only does the very reasonable priced CEOL Piccolo play anything you’d care to listen to from wherever you might like to get it from, it does so with aplomb. Go on, ditch those old optical discs – Denon’s got your back.”

www.whathifi.com (January 2013)

“It is near enough impossible to fault the Piccolo musically, as it delivers incredible high and low frequencies with plenty of space in the mix to let instruments breathe.”

“It’s equally at home with compressed or uncompressed music, with enough skill and noise to pick out the details that lesser systems will have problems finding.”

“The Piccolo is one of the best value digital network devices. I strongly recommend that you give it a look.”
BBC Music magazine (May 2013).

“The CEOL Piccolo is a sleek-looking mini hifi solution that produces great-sounding audio.”

DNP-720AE

A recent reviewer said, “I was looking for something that I could play my cd collection using my home internet network and using my personal audio system that is not wireless. I happened to see the Denon DNP-720AE at Crutchfield and did some research on it. Sounded like this is what I wanted and would give it a try. Am I glad I did! Came expertly packaged from Crutchfield and very simple to set up. Connection to my home network was flawless and my music sounds wonderful. I was a little skeptical at first as I am very particular on sound and didn’t know if I would get that with a wireless system. But I was amazed at how the player reproduced the music as I didn’t think that was possible. I also listen to the internet radio which is crystal clear with never any problems. This machine is highly recommended!”

NA-11S1

A recent reviewer said, “All-in-one solution for music in my home…love it!”

“Marantz’s new NA-11S1 shows just what is possible from modern high-res digital sources. It has a plethora of facilities, including stable streaming and USB provision, and is beautifully built. Its subtle, smooth and intricately detailed sound sets an enviable standard.”

NA11 “Highly Commended” Hi-Fi Choice

“If networked audio systems have typically been designed for convenience rather than ultimate sound quality then this new digital audio player from Marantz marks a turning point in the evolution of home hi-fi. In addition to offering USB Type A and B sockets – for iDevices, memory sticks and connection to a PC or Mac – the NA-11S1 includes an Ethernet port for access to a NAS drive or to become part of your wired home network. The new DSD-over-USB protocol is also supported. Naturally, AirPlay and DLNA connectivity is included, so you can wirelessly stream music from your computer or mobile device. The player is immaculately finished while its subtle, smooth and intricately detailed sound is always musical, setting an enviable standard. Without doubt, the NA-11S1 is a supreme streamer.”
