Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier

“The Anthem STR offers superb basic performance. Its Anthem Room Correction can help clear up the room/speaker interactions that can compromise the bass performance of even the best loudspeakers, and do so without compromising the midrange and high-frequency balance that drew you to those speakers in the first place.”

Anthem P2

“From what I have heard, the outputs can be shorted and it still won’t shut down. The P2 also sounds very good, and of course, this is the most important thing about any amplifier. In any case, if you have speakers that dip into the low range of impedance and are not very sensitive, the P2 would be an excellent solution.”
John Johnson // Secrets of Home Theater // Read the full review here

“This Anthem trio performs well over specification in almost every test, and is certainly one of the most powerful and high-quality systems we have tested.”
D2V, P2, & P5 Combination Review // Alvin Gold // Tech Radar // Read the full review here

“The Anthem P2 is an extremely high-powered, well-built amplifier that doesn’t inflict its own personality on the sound. You should hear what all that beautiful power can do with your speakers.”

Anthem M1

“Our Pioneering Design Achievement was created to recognize those products that break new ground, technically and/or sonically. Anthem’s Statement M1 mono amplifier, which Jeff Fritz reviewed for SoundStage! Ultra last January, is a perfect fit for this award.”
Doug Schneider // SoundStage! Network // Read the full review here

“The Anthem Signature M1 does a number of things very well indeed. It’s immensely powerful, and goes exceptionally loud without any obvious drama, even when driving a known ‘difficult’ load, while the casework and heatsink fins remain merely warm at all power levels.”
Paul Messenger // Hi-Fi Plus // Read the full review here

“What I can unequivocally say is that the Anthem Statement M1 is darn near the ideal of a straight wire with gain, and at 1000W, that gain is almost unlimited.”
Jeff Fritz // SoundStage! Ultra // Read the full review here

“Anthem’s Statement M1 amp is a technological tour de force that outputs an enormous amount of power from what seems to be an impossibly small and lightweight package.”
Michael Fremer // Sound & Vision // Read the full review here

“Anthem’s M1 is an unreserved success at the cutting edge of amplifier design. It delivers stunning clarity, excellent dynamics and frankly frightening power in a form factor that is practical and energy efficient….the M1 has the ability to thrill with any genre of music. It punches way above its weight in every respect.”

Anthem MRX 1120

“The Anthem MRX 1120 is a real reference quality receiver that can be the hub of any home theater. It makes the right choices in what features you need and leaves out the extra ones you will likely never use. I’m happy to have it powering my updated home theater and believe anyone after a reference quality receiver should look at it.”
Chris Heinonen // Reference Home Theatre // Read the full review here

“Overall, the Anthem MRX 1120 is a fabulously effective AV receiver, and Anthem’s sophisticated room correction is astonishingly effective. Once dialed in, the AVR sounds beautifully precise and balanced. Soundtracks are tight and involving: bass is deep and granite hard, while dialogue remains crisp and articulate.”
Best Buy // Steve May // Home Cinema Choice // Read the full review here

“You’d be hard-pressed to find a better-sounding solution short of going with separates. Highly recommended.”
Sound & Vision Top Pick // David Vaughm // Sound & Vision // October 2016 // Read the full review here

“To put not too fine a point on it, the Anthem MRX 1120 is the best home theater receiver that I have had the pleasure of ever using. It looks deceptively simple on the outside and while it might not have every last bell and whistle that some of its competitors do, the features it does have are the ones that matter and are well thought out. It’s defining characteristic though is its sound quality and the MRX 1120 is truly top shelf in this regard.”
Carlo Lo Raso // Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity // October 2016 // Read the full review here

“In many ways, Anthem has redefined expectations around home cinema. For many brands, the category has simply become an arms race about features and functionality. Anthem has stripped all that back to offer a sublime level of performance allied to a truly sensational calibration and room EQ solution. The result is a fabulous home cinema centrepiece.”
Recommended Product // Steve May // Inside CI // September 2016 // Read the full review here

“I only hesitate to call the MRX 1120’s stereo performance “perfect” out of fear that Anthem will top it with its inevitable fourth-generation MRX lineup and I’ll have to eat my words.”
Dennis Burger // HomeTheaterReview.com // September 2016 // Read the full review here

“The MRX 1120 is also a very musical AV receiver, making it one of those rare beasts that is able to deliver a barnstorming performance with films and an equally subtle and effective performance with music.”
Steve Withers // AVForums.com // April 2016 // Read the full review here
